Welcome to the Orleans Asylum for the Criminally Insane
Recently uncovered by the Kiwanis Club of Orleans, the Orleans Asylum for the Criminally Insane was overrun by the inmates many years ago. Not trusting the outside world to judge them fairly, they have remained well hidden and created they’re own little society. They produce their own food (so to speak), they tend their young, and they bury their dead. If only they would stay buried… but more about at that later.
To be admitted to the OACI is to discover the three major elements that make up sKreamers, the Asylum Inmate Entrance, the Asylum Back Door and the Scary Wagon Ride.
The Scary Wagon Ride
For 2011 expect to deal with toxic waste issues, bathroom humour, a very large, very hungry something or other and an opportunity to “hang around” or maybe just “lose your head”. Why not join us around the campfire? Say your prayers at the Church of the Crypts but beware that nasty ol’ chainsaw! Either way, we encourage you to get lost in the fantasy. It’s easier to hide the bodies that way.
And anyway you decide to deal with it, there’s fear and fun around every corner that is if you dare to show.

Asylum Inmate Entrance
Our 150 year old barn is resplendent with a motley crew of very bitchy, whiny ghosts and ghouls with very bad attitudes. We tried to coax them out but they have refused to leave peacefully, so it looks like you’re going to have to deal with them as you move carefully through the halls of horror. And of course we’ve added some new treats to entertain and terrify you. Lots to see and see and see and… okay you get the point. Unfortunately we can’t encourage you to hang around the dungeon. We don’t like to leave things dangling… and of course all the old favorites are back and there’s a new experience that’ll give you a new perspective on a good old fashioned root canal.
The Asylum Back Door
As you cross the bridge to Haydes, please try and keep your head about you, if you know what I mean… We know the graveyard is pretty frightening but despite our efforts, the fog just doesn’t seem to help calm the nerves. The new Zombie Petting Zoo is a great place to get a manicure, from the knuckles down! We’re going to give you a peek at the nursery. You can see where and how our young are spawned. Arrive early, you don’t want to miss a thing!

D&S Southern Comfort mobile catering wagon presents “Jack the Ribber and a Movie”. Relax in our covered picnic area as your teeth rip into delectable Brisket sandwiches or Pulled Pork on a bun. Chew on a chicken leg or tear apart the half or full racks of St. Louis ribs. Wolf down hush puppies, gnash the cole slaw, and savour the BBQ beans.
